Manooni are a family collective of needle felting masters consisting of sisters Hanna and Olha, their mother Tetiana and Hanna’s husband Alex. Hanna founded the company whilst studying at the Academy of Art - she used the outlet of needle felting to express her creative ideas and started selling her work on Etsy. Manooni’s popularity soared and subsequently the team grew to what it is today.

For those that do not know, needle felting is a process which uses barbed needles to interlock wool fibres to form a strong condensed felt material. Because wool fibres have scales, when they are disturbed and interacted with in this way they catch and lock and so creations of all shapes and sizes can be built to last using this technique.
...well, what’s not to love?
One particular creation that elevated Manooni into the public eye was the adorable ‘Avocado couple’. People seemed to love the notion of cute, smiling food couples because well, what’s not to love? And so a jolly duo of eggs, chillis, pumpkins and cupcakes amongst others shortly followed and were added to the portfolio of this close knit company.

Manooni though, have their needles in much more than just the one area of felting. Because the four members of the team all have their own unique style, philosophy and sense of beauty, their shop is a vast array of shape and artistic direction. Cows, clouds, mountains and men are just a few of their collection.
There is even a product devoted to Tetiana called mother bird, this was the first time that Hanna and Olha had collaborated with one another and like all of the products under the enchanting umbrella of Manooni it is full of so much love and care.
